Meet Cooper

Don’t bother asking for him, you won’t find Cooper behind the counter or in the back making your sandwich. Cooper is a four year old American Foxhound (think beagle on steroids).  We found Cooper at the Buffalo SPCA when he was a puppy.  Already, the former owners thought that he was too big for their lifestyle.  He’s gained 30 pounds since then and stands about three feet high – he can put his front paws on your shoulders and look you right in the eye.  Oh, and he’s pretty bright - if you want privacy, you better lock the door since he can turn door knobs and open doors. 

Everyone seems to love Cooper; we get stopped on the street constantly by people asking what kind of dog he is. But if you see him, please don’t tell him he’s good looking.  It goes straight to his head.
